Messaging Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 21, 2026

Campaign Messaging Program

Jeffrey Joh for San Ramon City Council sends campaign updates, event reminders, and volunteer opportunities to people who affirmatively opt in to receive text messages (SMS/MMS). Messages may include images or other media. Through this messaging program, donations will not be solicited.

Your Consent

To subscribe, provide your phone number and check the separate text messaging consent checkbox on a campaign contact form. The checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. Providing your phone number alone, signing up for email, or volunteering does not enroll you in the messaging program. Messaging consent is not a condition of submitting a form or making a donation.

Frequency and Rates

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Contact your carrier with questions about your plan. Delivery depends on your carrier and network availability.

Opt Out and Help

Reply STOP to opt out of text messages (SMS/MMS). You may receive a confirmation of your opt-out. Reply HELP for help, or contact sanramon@jeffreyjoh.com for assistance.

Privacy

Your mobile information and messaging consent will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for promotional or marketing purposes. Information may be disclosed only to providers that help deliver and operate this campaign's messaging service. Read our Privacy Policy for details about information collected, use, and sharing.
