My name is Jeff, and I’m running for San Ramon City Council. I want to attract new employers, help local businesses stay and grow, and take a slower, more thoughtful approach to major development. That means planning for roads and services, protecting neighborhood character, and expanding public review before major decisions are made.

Attract new employers, help existing businesses thrive and expand, and make it easier for entrepreneurs to get started. A stronger business community creates opportunities close to home and helps fund city services.

Slow down. Plan growth carefully.

Take a slower, more thoughtful approach to major development. Protect our hillsides, open spaces, and neighborhood character, and plan for traffic, roads, and everyday services before approving major projects.

Give residents more say.

Expand public review of major development proposals, provide clear information earlier, and give residents more time to participate. I’ll advocate for affordable appeals and oppose broad advance approvals that weaken public review.

Make room for every generation.

Make San Ramon an even more connected and culturally vibrant community. I’ll support cultural celebrations, community events, neighborhood gatherings, youth activities, and expanded senior programming that give residents more ways to meet, participate, and build community across generations.

Take care of the basics. Respect taxpayers.

Maintain roads, parks, libraries, and public spaces while making the most of the revenue the city already receives. I’ll oppose new taxes on residents and focus on responsible spending that sustains essential services.

Jeffrey's Story

Raised here. Back home to serve.

I grew up in San Ramon, graduated from local public schools and UC Berkeley, and spent more than a decade living and working abroad. Seeing other livable cities gave me fresh ideas—and a deeper appreciation for home.

Working closely with startups and entrepreneurs taught me to move from ideas to action, adapt quickly, and make thoughtful decisions with limited resources.

Now I’m running for City Council to protect the quality of life San Ramon residents cherish, support local businesses, and turn good ideas into practical action.
